Ciba Lab Teacher Resources
Students become chemists, biologists and physicists in this fully functioning science lab. Demonstrations and table-top experiments change monthly so your students always have something new to see and do.
Students in grades 4 and higher will perform a series of self-guided, chaperone-assisted experiments at lab benches. They may choose to complete one activity or all six. Each activity allows them to learn first-hand the scientific method and many of the core principles of science.
They will experience:
- A fully functioning lab with chemicals, sensors, and lab equipment
- The opportunity to do experiments related to a number of science fields
- Exposure to some of the same lab activities done on many college campuses
Students in grades K-3 who might be too young to manipulate the materials at the table-top stations will participate in an interactive demonstration led by one of our Education Staff.
